A river of rain
had been falling from the sky
all morning.

In the middle of our dreams,
In the middle of the night
A thunderclap.
It came from upstream.
A roll of drums.
Drums of war.

Then came the wave of mud…
I saw the North Bridge sail by…
Like a ship at sea.
